Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at AWD online. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring that our information technology systems work effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving network, hardware, and software issues.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  3. Perform diagnostic tests and maintenance on computer components, ensuring optimal system performance.
  4. Assist employees in setting up firewalls and other security measures to safeguard our IT systems.
  5. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement technical solutions to improve system efficiency and minimize downtime.
  6. Document technical issues and resolutions, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our IT systems and services.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong background in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  2. Practical experience with internet and network security protocols, including firewalls and switches.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  4. Experience working with IT support ticketing systems and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in these areas.
  6. Basic troubleshooting experience with networking devices, including firewalls and switches.
