Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at AWD online. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring that our information technology systems work effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including computer systems, printers, and other equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and maintenance on computer components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up firewalls and other security measures to safeguard our IT systems.
  • Assist employees in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing clear and concise instructions and guidance.
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions using our IT support ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement new technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in IT support roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Practical experience with internet and network security protocols, including firewalls and antivirus software.
  • Experience working with IT support ticketing systems and software, such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, and 10.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience of networking devices and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
