Manchester Digital seeks an experienced professional to lead data delivery projects. As a Lead Data Delivery Manager, you will guide teams to deliver data products and services.

The salary for this role is £60,000 per annum, plus great benefits, in Manchester City Centre (hybrid working). This 24-month fixed-term contract presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the company's growth plans and improve delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create effective delivery strategies to meet project needs and partner expectations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery processes and promote best practices among team members
  • Define measurable KPIs to assess success and provide insights, updates, and reports to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues to scope and estimate work packages accurately, ensuring realistic timelines
  • Manage the DevOps Board to foster collaboration and communication within delivery teams
  • Monitor and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies throughout projects
  • Nurture positive relationships with internal and external partners
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to support the development of delivery team members

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager with a strong track record of successful projects
  • Experience managing various digital technology and data projects
  • Multidisciplinary team management expertise, ensuring smooth teamwork
  • In-depth understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies for effective project management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams through challenges
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to influence and challenge people inclusively
