About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Eco Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our municipal contracts team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the Education, Communications, and Outreach (ECO) function.

Your primary focus will be to ensure that strategic project plans are executed effectively to meet set objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Area Communications Manager and officers to create and implement community engagement projects aimed at changing resident behaviours and improving recycling rates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing good news stories
  • Working with regional communications colleagues to meet regional and contract objectives
  • Staying informed about industry developments
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the east municipal region

We are looking for someone with proven experience in delivering behaviour change and community engagement techniques, as well as a strong understanding of PR, social media, social advertising, and digital communications.
