About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Branas Isaf Children's Service. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to our young people.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children and young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our children and young people, building trust and rapport through active listening and empathy.
  • Collaborate with our team to create and implement personalized care plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each young person.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy living environment, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and organization.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the highest standard of care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a residential childcare environment (preferably with children and young people with complex needs).
  • Level 3 Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Valid driver's license (a company vehicle will be provided for work purposes).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Willingness to accommodate a rolling rota, including night sleep and 4-day breaks.
