Support a Client with a Spinal Cord Injury in Their Own Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Live In Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a client with a spinal cord injury, supporting them with their daily needs and activities in the comfort of their own home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support the client with their daily routine, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's healthcare team to ensure their care plan is implemented effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of the client's care and progress.
Requirements:
  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
