Job Opportunity: Corporate Finance Lead

Estimated Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance Lead to join our team at Cpl Health Talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our financial operations, including financial administration, sales and purchase ledger processing, bank and account reconciliations, credit control, management accounts, payroll and compliance, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Administration

The Corporate Finance Lead will manage and maintain all general accounts administration through a computerised accounting package and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger Processing

They will oversee and process sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

  • Bank and Account Reconciliations

The role involves conducting bank reconciliations regularly, and managing petty cash and credit card reconciliations, if applicable.

  • Credit Control

The Corporate Finance Lead will manage credit control procedures as needed to support cash flow and financial stability.

  • Management Accounts

They will produce management accounts, including Profit & Loss reports, aged debtors and creditors, and intercompany balancing and recharges. They will investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies or anomalies.

  • Payroll and Compliance

The role includes overseeing monthly payroll processing, including all aspects of PAYE and pensions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Cash Flow Management

The Corporate Finance Lead will maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and manage cash flow to support operational needs.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in a similar finance management role
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet management
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a senior management team
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, PAYE, and pensions
