About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at NewDay Ltd. As a key member of our Credit and Impairment Insights function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production and reporting of monthly IFRS 9 P&L results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Impairment Reporting: Support the Head of the team in delivering and reporting informative, accurate, and timely Impairment results, including supporting the monthly expected credit loss calculations.
  2. Data Analysis: Interrogate and manipulate large data sets to interpret trends and drivers of Impairment.
  3. Platform Migration: Support any data platform migrations and validations which impact ongoing Impairment reporting.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Python/SQL/SAS/Microsoft Office for data manipulation and analysis.
  2. Documentation and Presentation: Well-developed documentation writing and presentation skills.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience in working with a credit card portfolio or unsecured loans.
