About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regional Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy AGT (Aeroderivative Gas Turbines) in Warwick, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, investigating and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with our engineering colleagues to develop and implement solutions.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Regional Technical Support Engineer, you will work closely with our customers to understand their technical needs and provide expert support to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for:

  • Investigating and resolving technical issues in a timely and safe manner
  • Collaborating with our engineering colleagues to develop and implement solutions
  • Engaging with various functions across the business to deliver excellent support to our customers
  • Identifying opportunities for business development with customers and providing technical leadership on such matters
  • Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support our customers, including the opportunity for overseas travel to customer sites

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong experience in the operation and service of gas turbines, with experience in aero-derivative gas turbines being advantageous
  • Familiarity with and experience in the application of a range of problem-solving techniques, both theoretical and practical
  • Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced customer-facing situations, with the ability to work flexibly to deliver creative, robust, safe solutions to our customers
  • Flexibility, ability to connect with others, and pride in bringing positive ideas to the team
  • Ability to manage your own time and adapt to change
  • Strong communication and reporting skills in English, with an appreciation of cultural differences that comes with a global customer base
