Gas Turbine Modifications Applications Engineer

Position Overview

Siemens Energy Industrial Turbomachinery Ltd. is in search of a proficient Applications Engineer specializing in modifications and upgrades to join their Gas Services division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret customer technical requirements for enhancements to Gas Turbines.
  • Establish the scope of work for upgrades, encompassing engine, package mechanical, package electrical, and control systems.
  • Verify the costs and necessary equipment for the upgrade projects.
  • Deliver technical assistance during proposal discussions and client meetings.
  • Recognize and address potential project risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Aeroderivative Gas Turbines design and functionality.
  • Capability to articulate complex engineering ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and readiness to travel as required.
  • Background in the oil and gas or power generation sectors.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and specifications.
  • Experience with Siemens AGT packages is advantageous.
