About the Role

Sherpa is a leading Channel & Partnerships agency, serving some of the world's fastest-growing technology companies. We're seeking a highly skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse clients' Partner marketing environments and campaign performance to assess their effectiveness and ROI.
  • Develop and optimise data storage, access, and retrieval.
  • Use analytical methods, including machine learning, Python, or R, for data analysis, exploration, and predictive model building.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to visualise key Partner marketing metrics and performance indicators.
  • Identify trends and insights from data to recommend and implement improvements in marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to communicate findings and recommendations at all levels internally and externally.
  • Utilise strong mathematical and statistical skills to conduct rigorous data analysis and ensure the accuracy of insights and recommendations.
  • Adapt to new technologies and tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Maintain client instances of our Partner CRM for data accuracy and reporting.
Requirements
  • Advanced Data Skills: Demonstrated skill in data analytics and managing large datasets. PowerBI skills to build and maintain dashboards as needed.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of internal and external stakeholders, comfortable and confident with complex data topics as well as marketing topics.
  • Problem-solving and Adaptability: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges, coupled with the adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as needed.
  • Nice to have: Practical experience with API integrations and connecting systems, proficiency in Python for script writing, task automation, and improving integration processes.
Other Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in math and statistics.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with marketing channels and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
