Job Description: As a Freelance Resource Manager, you will be responsible for heading our newly restructured Freelancer Management team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a large team of external subtitling and translation resources to ensure high-quality work and meet project timelines.
• Developing operational efficiencies in subtitling and translation workflows by leveraging technological expertise to identify and implement tools and software that enhance operational efficiencies.
• Establishing clear performance metrics and feedback mechanisms to optimize processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing the Freelancer Management department strategy, aligning with business objectives and needs. You will also be responsible for building a global first-class team of recruiters to source, test and onboard subtitling, translation and post-editing freelancers.

Additionally, you will centralise and standardise recruitment processes and workflows, create a single, updated freelance database and grow the talent base to meet business needs. You will negotiate rate cards with suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.

Desired Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years' experience in subtitling, translation or localisation, preferably in a leadership or management role.
• A proven track record of developing operational efficiencies, managing teams, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with project management tools.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
