The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior or Principal Flood Modeller/Hydrologist to join our Hydrological Sciences team at Stantec UK. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and independently to deliver high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing projects, including flood risk assessments and flood modelling
  • Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Working with hydraulic modelling software, including Flood Modeller Pro, ISIS - Tuflow, and WinDes
  • Providing expert advice on hydrological assessments and flow estimation
  • Designing and implementing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and surface/foul water drainage systems

You will be a strong communicator with excellent project management skills, able to work effectively in a team and independently. A relevant master's degree and chartership with a professional institution are essential for this role.
