Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team at Thames Valley Police Custody Suite - Abingdon. As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Forensic sampling (including road traffic act bloods)
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies
  • Assessment & care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Promoting good personal healthcare
  • Working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs
