About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Forensic Healthcare Professional to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to detainees in police custody suites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Forensic sampling, including road traffic offence bloods
  • Signposting and conducting referrals, offering support for vulnerabilities and promoting positive change
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies and promoting good personal healthcare
  • Assessment and care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Acute disease management and working with Liaison and Diversion to identify mental health needs

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Job Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and determined individual to join our team as a Forensic Practitioner. As a Forensic Practitioner, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.

This is an alternative career option open to RGNs and qualified Paramedics with 3+ years' post-qualification experience. You will work in a dynamic and lively environment, with no two days the same, and have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Hours of Work

We offer a 4-on-4-off rota pattern, which gives you the ability to plan your personal life months in advance. The shift pattern comprises two day shifts, two night shifts, and four days off. This is for Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
