Job Title: Welsh Speaking Customer Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welsh speaking customer service advisor to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF) team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to applicants and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process emergency payments and individual assistance grant applications in accordance with set criteria.
  • Manage and process data in a fast-paced office environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with applicants to process information into the DAF solution, providing clear and concise guidance where necessary.
  • Undertake eligibility checks with applicants, seeking information directly from them and utilizing additional sources for confirmation.
  • Comply with Processing Services Customer Charter when dealing with all incoming and outbound calls, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.
  • Work as part of the team to achieve targets set by the Service Manager, contributing to the delivery of the DAF contract.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to Local Welfare Provision, either by telephone, email, or letter.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients, citizens, and internal colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Welsh Language speaker - Conversional level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to the delivery of the DAF contract and achieving targets set by the Service Manager.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
