Job Title: Welsh Speaking Customer Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welsh speaking customer service advisor to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our Discretionary Assistance Fund team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals experiencing financial hardship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process emergency payments and individual assistance grant applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and process data in a fast-paced office environment, ensuring accurate data recording and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with applicants to process information into the DAF solution, providing clear and concise communication.
  • Undertake eligibility checks with the applicant, seeking information direct from the applicant and utilising additional sources for confirmation.
  • Comply with Processing Services Customer Charter when dealing with all incoming and outbound calls, in both English and Welsh.
  • Work as part of the team in achieving targets set by the Service Manager, contributing to the delivery of the DAF contract.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to Local Welfare Provision, either by telephone, email, or letter.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients, citizens, and internal colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Welsh Language speaker - Conversional level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
