Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our business operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our team, including managing office supplies, maintaining records, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including holiday charts, sickness records, and other relevant documents.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings and appointments, and ensure that all necessary materials are prepared and available.
  • Project Support: Assist with the production of project reports, gather information for sales invoicing, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a good level of numeracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
