About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Support Professional to join our team in Barnstaple. As a key member of our specialist support services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of adults with complex needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in care and support, with a passion for delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to people's lives. They will be responsible for providing direct care and support to service users, developing and maintaining relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct care and support to service users
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a care or support role
  • A Level 3 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing training and professional development
