Job Description

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing projects and staff assigned to project. You will assist the Section Leader in the management and supervision of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resourcing: Assist the Section Leader and Associates to coordinate office resources on a weekly basis and to enable the Associates to prepare a report on resources for the Board on a monthly basis.
  • Design: Initiate ideas, conduct feasibility analysis, provide technical supervision, and ensure the safety of finished structures.
  • Training: Assist in the training, mentoring, and professional development of non-chartered technical staff.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure staff under your responsibility are aware of risks associated with visits to construction sites, unoccupied buildings, etc.
  • Business Development: Procure new work and help develop new areas of business through marketing, networking, and establishing contacts.

Requirements:

  • Project risk assessments and residual risk identification
  • Defining and maintaining quality safety standards
  • Continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with technical developments and legislation
