Trauma and Elective Care Physio

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Trauma and Elective Care Physio to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading in the assessment and management of patients post orthopaedic surgery or soft tissue/bony injuries in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
About the Role:- Providing physiotherapy services to patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries/surgery
- Assessing, rehabilitating, and discharging patients on the orthopaedic ward
- Liaising with community colleagues for holistic follow-up beyond the hospital
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with experience working as a Band 5 Physiotherapist. They must also be able to demonstrate self-management, education, and treatment to patients in the sub-acute phase of elective orthopaedic surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:- BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy required
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy essential
- Experience of working as a Band 5 Physiotherapist required
The estimated salary for this position is around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
