Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department at Darent Valley Hospital.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse to take on a leadership role in our busy Emergency Department. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing flow, and supporting a junior team while maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support and develop a junior team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Masterful nursing skills, including cannulation, plastering, catheterization, and IT skills.
- Proven experience working in emergency or critical care environments.
- Post-graduate A&E/Critical Care Qualification or working towards.
- HDU course completion.
Salary and Benefits
- A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
