About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Lead to join our team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of patient safety strategies across the trust, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.

As a key member of our patient safety team, you will work closely with clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of patient safety strategies
  • Work closely with clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to address patient safety concerns
  • Monitor and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and other external organizations as required

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a clinical governance role
  • Substantial experience in patient safety and quality improvement
  • Knowledge of healthcare risk management in the NHS
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Able to maintain high standards of diplomacy and confidentiality
  • High level of own work organisation, drive for performance and improvement

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
