Job Summary:
This part-time position involves providing specialist learning support to students on the Autistic Spectrum.
You will work one-to-one with students, helping them overcome barriers to their learning caused by their autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored support plans for each student
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students struggling with anxiety and stress
- Help students develop strategies for managing concentration difficulties, time management, and prioritizing workload
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (2:1 or above)
- Experience working with individuals on the Autistic Spectrum
- An in-depth knowledge of autism and its effects on higher education students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
