Healthcare Support Coordinator

The NHS seeks a dedicated Care Navigator to support patients throughout their healthcare journey. As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance, direct patients to suitable services, and ensure timely care delivery. Collaborating with GPs, nurses, and allied professionals, you will work towards achieving optimal patient outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will need a GCSE-level education or equivalent, active signposting or Care Navigator training, and a healthcare qualification at Level 2 or working towards an equivalent level. A patient-focused and polite demeanor, flexibility, motivation, problem-solving skills, high integrity, sensitivity, excellent communication skills, and ability to understand patient needs are essential qualities for this position. The estimated salary for this part-time role, approximately 16 hours per week, is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, with alternating Friday shifts from 08:30 to 17:30 and 10:00 to 19:00.
