Job Title: Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Critical Care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering evidence-based care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Working effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill children
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration
  • Acute Paediatric Experience
  • PILS/APLS/EPLS
  • Paediatric HDU experience
  • Able to manage a deteriorating patient
  • Able to manage patients' emotional needs and demonstrate empathy and caring
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
