We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at The Portland Hospital for Women & Children. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the PICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • NMC Child Registered Nurse
  • Post-graduate nursing experience in PICU or pediatric High Dependency Unit
  • Ability to work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Care, compassion, and empathy
