Autism Support Specialist

As an Autism Support Specialist at Turning Point, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people across Cheltenham.
The successful candidate will be working at one of our supported living services, where they will be responsible for delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
You will be part of a dynamic team that offers 24-hour support to individuals with varying levels of care needs. Your duties will include supporting daily activities, personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.
This is a nights role, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will work a range of shifts from 9:15pm to promote the independence of people we support.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, patient, and non-judgemental, with transferable experience of helping people manage anxiety. A driving licence is necessary.
Turning Point offers a competitive salary of £20,500 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 29 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service.
