Job Overview:
Flourish Education Ltd is recruiting for a Primary Support Assistant - Autism to work in a mainstream Primary School in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with primary aged children who have severe autism and PMLD (profound multiple learning difficulties).

A salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience is offered. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with complex needs.

The Primary school we are working with has an Ofsted rating of 'Good' and is based near the St. Pauls area of Cheltenham. They have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care for their students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with autism and PMLD.
• Provide direct support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students and their families.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working with students with autism and PMLD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Hours:
The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis, typically Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
