About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of People and Culture Excellence to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership development and organisational excellence, with experience of working in a similar role in a large organisation.

You will be responsible for leading the development of organisational excellence, overseeing learning and development on an organisation-wide scale, and ensuring provision of highly effective services that exceed customer needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Organisational Development:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive organisational development strategy aligned with the NHS's overarching goals.
  2. Provide visionary leadership to drive continuous improvement in employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
Leadership Development:
  1. Identify and nurture compassionate and inclusive leadership and talent within the organisation through targeted development programs.
  2. Collaborate with HR to implement succession planning and talent retention strategies.
People and Culture:
  1. Design and deliver comprehensive people and culture programmes for all employees to ensure they are engaged, motivated, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Skills and Qualifications: Educated to at least Master's level in a relevant field (Leadership, Organisational Psychology, HR Management) or equivalent. Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent.
