JENKI is a dynamic and rapidly growing business with a diverse range of operations, including Matcha Bars, E-commerce, B2B Wholesale, and Events. Our team of 60 dedicated individuals across these departments and 10+ at our head office prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
We recognize the need for a dedicated Head of People to lead our HR function, ensuring that our team members are supported, engaged, and empowered to grow within the company.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of People to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in driving our people strategy, supporting our team's growth, and ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture. As the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading all HR-related activities, from talent management and development to employee relations and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolution in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to support the professional growth of our employees.
- Evaluate and update employee handbooks, contracts, and other HR-related documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a diverse and growing company.* Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.* Experience in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.* A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for growth and development make this a unique opportunity for the right candidate.
