About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Manager to join our team at Operose Health. As a Senior Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of high-quality nursing services across our services and surgeries in the designated geographical region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Governance
    • Provide professional leadership and supervision to nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and clinical excellence.
    • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Recruit, retain, and develop nursing teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
    • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to nursing teams, including regular consultation audits and 1:2:1s.
  • Quality Improvement and Assurance
    • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Regional and Practice Managers, to ensure the delivery of targets and KPIs.
  • Clinical Expertise and Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain expertise in clinical areas, including primary care CQC inspections and quality improvement programmes.
    • Stay up-to-date with current political agenda influencing health and national and organisational policy.
Requirements
  • Extensive clinical experience in primary care health settings and leading nursing teams.
  • Experience of primary care CQC inspections and quality improvement programmes.
  • Ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care and clinical excellence.
  • Excellent understanding of national and organisational policy and current political agenda influencing health.
  • Leadership qualification (desirable).
