Job Description

Job Title: Senior Nurse Manager - Primary Care Health

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Manager to join our team at Operose Health. As a key member of our Regional Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality nursing services across our Primary Care Health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the nursing teams within the designated region to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, support, and advice to Lead Nurses.
  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of all clinical aspects of nursing care to ensure clinical excellence, in line with our organisational policies and priorities.
  • Support the Region with the recruitment and retention of nursing teams.
  • Support with the training and development of the Lead Nurse and wider Nursing Team, including Mandatory Training.
  • Ongoing mentorship of the Lead Nursing team to support continued development.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Operations team to support the delivery of Nursing KPIs, such as Childhood Immunisations, Cervical Screening, and Flu Vaccinations.
  • Ensure CQC nursing compliance and implement policies across the organisation.
  • Lead on the Clinical delivery of QOF and ES, ensuring maximum achievement of targets in Nursing domains.

Requirements:

  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and leading nursing teams.
  • Extensive experience of the primary care CQC inspections.
  • Excellent understanding of National and Organisational policy.
  • Understanding of quality improvement Programmes and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of current political agenda influencing health.
  • Ability to identify training needs of self and team to provide relevant and appropriate experience to all learners.
