">Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planner to join our team, reporting directly to the Strategic Land Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for land acquisition, development planning, and contributing to large-scale projects. With a minimum of 2 years' experience in strategic land planning, either from a Local Planning Authority (LPA) or private sector background, you will be able to drive the strategic land acquisition process forward.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying and securing strategic land opportunities for development
  • Support the land team in managing and progressing planning applications
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the strategic land acquisition process
  • Build and maintain relationships with external parties, including local authorities and landowners
  • Undertake site appraisals and feasibility assessments
  • E nsure projects adhere to planning regulations and timelines
">Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a strategic land role, either from an LPA or private sector background
  • A degree in Planning or a related Built Environment field (accredited by the RTPI or similar body is preferred, but not essential)
  • Chartered status is desirable, but not essential
  • A full driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
