Job Title: Regional Development Specialist
Location: North West England, North East England, and Cumbria
Salary: £33,500 - £38,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays
Remote Work Option: Two days a week working from home
Driver's License Requirement: Yes, for site visits and meetings
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Regional Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in regional development, either from a Local Planning Authority (LPA) or private sector background.
- Identify and secure strategic land opportunities for development across the North West, North East, and Cumbria regions.
- Collaborate with external parties, including local authorities and landowners, to progress planning applications.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure projects adhere to planning regulations and timelines.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in regional development, either from an LPA or private sector background.
- A degree in Planning or a related Built Environment field is desirable.
- A full driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
- Flexible working arrangements, including two days a week from home.
- Early finish on Fridays.
