Location: Lancashire, North West England
Estimated Salary: £33,500 - £38,500 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week - early finish on Fridays
Hybrid Working: 2 days a week working from home (once fully established in the role)
Driving License Required: Yes
About Carrington West:We are seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team and contribute to large-scale projects across the North West, North East, and Cumbria regions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for land acquisition, development planning, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and secure strategic land opportunities for development.
- Support the land team in managing and progressing planning applications.
- Drive the strategic land acquisition process through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties, including local authorities and landowners.
- Conduct site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
- Ensure projects comply with planning regulations and timelines.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a strategic land role, either from an LPA or private sector background.
- A degree in Planning or a related Built Environment field (accredited by the RTPI or similar body is preferred, but not essential).
- Chartered status is desirable, but not essential.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- 2 days a week working from home.
- Flexible working hours - early finish on Fridays.
