Development Planning Professional

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Development Planning Professional to join our team in Lancashire. As a key member of our land team, you will be responsible for assisting in the identification and acquisition of strategic land opportunities for development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in strategic land planning and be familiar with the planning regulations and timelines in the North West, North East, and Cumbria regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure strategic land opportunities for development.
- Support the land team in managing and progressing planning applications.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the strategic land acquisition process.
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties, including local authorities and landowners.
- Undertake site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
- Ensure projects adhere to planning regulations and timelines.
