Job Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a growing team and contribute to the development of strategic planning strategies for our portfolio sites. As an Urban Planning Specialist, you will work closely with our Senior Strategic Planning Manager to prepare and implement planning strategies, lead the preparation and submission of planning applications, and promote land through the Local Plan process.
Key Requirements
- At least 2 years of planning experience in housing (within housebuilding, consultancy, land promotion, or local authority)
- A degree accredited by the RTPI (or equivalent) in planning or a related field within the built environment
- Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingsness to travel to various sites across the north of England and southern Scotland
Benefits and Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a competitive pension scheme.
