About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated dispensary team. As an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to our patients.
Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be to support Pharmacists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centred care and ensure seamless communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Pharmacists in conducting thorough medicine histories from patients.
- Provide advice on treatment options and support patients in understanding their medication regimens.
- Support the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification from a reputable institution.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Market-leading Accuracy Checking Programme experience.
