Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays)
  • Buy holiday salary sacrifice scheme
  • Annual bonus - up to 20% of annual salary
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • 26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (after 1 years' service) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, and 4 weeks fully paid paternity leave

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Duty Pharmacy Manager. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our pharmacy services, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplying prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers
  • Playing an active role in our charities support program by giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
  • Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
