Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated dispensary team as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centred care and ensure seamless communication between departments.

Job Description
As an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for supporting Pharmacists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will also assist in providing advice on treatment options and supporting patients in understanding their medication regimens. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Pharmacists to conduct thorough medicine histories from patients.
  • Provide guidance on treatment options and support patients in understanding their medication regimens.
  • Support the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification from a reputable institution.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Market-leading Accuracy Checking Programme experience.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:
