We are seeking an experienced Medicine Supply Expert to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. As an expert in the supply of medicines and accuracy checking, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and inspiring the healthcare team to deliver patient-centred care, and supporting the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists. You will work closely with Primary and Secondary care health professionals to help us change for the better in the local community.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a registered Pharmacy Technician qualification with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC) and the recognised Accuracy Checking Qualification. We can offer a market-leading Accuracy Checking Programme that would support you to reach the next step and become an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician with Boots. Our programme includes continuous support from a designated supervisor to aid your development and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take medicine histories from patients and give advice on treatment options
  • Support Pharmacists and other Healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services
  • Oversee and inspire the healthcare team to deliver patient-centred care
  • Support the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists
