Dispensary Support Team Leader

Join our dynamic dispensary team as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative healthcare services. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication between departments.
Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting Pharmacists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, providing advice on treatment options, and supporting patients in understanding their medication regimens. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Pharmacists to conduct thorough medicine histories from patients.
- Offer guidance on treatment options and support patients in understanding their medication regimens.
- Support the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification from a reputable institution.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Market-leading Accuracy Checking Programme experience.
