Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group Financial Controller to join our team in Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial leadership, with experience in managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and maintaining internal controls.

About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reports, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will also lead and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration and maintaining high performance to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to the SLT and board members, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet business needs.
  • Maintain internal controls, oversee audits, and manage regulatory filings to safeguard data and minimise risks.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration, ensuring high performance, and supporting continuity planning to maintain team effectiveness.
