Job Title: Personal Assistant Child

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a dedicated and energetic Personal Assistant to support a 15-year-old boy with Autism in Pudsey, Leeds.

About the Role

We are looking for a flexible and reliable PA to provide one-to-one support and supervision to our son during term time (6 hours per week) and school holidays (12 hours per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our son in accessing social activities, developing his understanding of the wider community, and gaining independent social skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide one-to-one support at home and help our son access leisure and creative activities indoors and in the garden.
  2. Support our son in accessing social and leisure activities in the wider community.
  3. Develop our son's awareness of health and safety.
  4. Support our son in developing his sense of road safety and stranger danger.
  5. Interact with our son to develop his verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  6. Assist with personal care if needed.
Requirements
  • Driving license desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with children with Autism or similar additional needs.
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • An interest in animals, Pokemon, and Lego.
Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be directed by us and accountable to us in all aspects of their work. The role will involve working from our home and in the wider community.
