Job Title: Support Worker for Young Person with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide care and support to a young person with Autism.

About the Role:

  • Provide personal care and support to the young person, including toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Support the young person to access community activities and develop their independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the young person's family and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to their care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Autism and its impact on daily life.
  • Ability to work flexibly and provide support on a weekday evening and weekend basis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
