The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible shift times, including 8 or 12 hours, and will be willing to float between units as needed. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care according to established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Deliver exceptional nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Manage medications and narcotics, follow protocols, and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

Requirements:

  • A valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required.
  • You must be able to work with individuals who have infectious diseases.
  • A current BLS Certificate and Valid First Aid & CPR certification are necessary.
  • Proof of current immunizations and a negative TB skin test are mandatory.
  • A Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check is also required.
  • You should possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts and float between units are essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
