About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Care Assistant to join our team at one of our care homes in Thurso. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the quality care and support they deserve. You will assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share great moments and memories with our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Follow care plans and administer medication as required
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss resident care and safety
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Some experience of caring for older people
- A can-do approach and excellent communication skills
- Empathy and compassion to deliver high-quality care and support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £21,500-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, you can look forward to a range of benefits and development opportunities, including life insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave entitlement.
