The Wayman Learning Trust is a well-established school in Oxford that specializes in providing educational support to children with autism. We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team as an Autism Specialist. In this role, you will work with small groups of students to develop their social communication and academic skills, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with autism.
- Implement IEPs and monitor student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with support staff and therapists to provide comprehensive support for students.
Requirements
- Experience teaching students with autism.
- Strong knowledge of autism strategies and approaches.
- DBS check required.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
