Job Title: Primary School Learning Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for a student with autism (ASD) in Year 3 at Academics Ltd. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping the student achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and ABA therapy techniques. You will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the education of the student, incorporating ABA therapy techniques into everyday learning, and ensuring the student's involvement in wider school life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor the education of a student with ASD in Year 3
  • Incorporate ABA therapy techniques into everyday learning
  • Ensure the student's involvement in wider school life
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • Graduates with a 2:1 or higher degree in SEN subjects or psychology
  • 3 years' employment history in an SEN school or 1:1 role
  • Experience working with children with autism and ABA therapy techniques
  • Reliability and commitment to providing a consistent support system

Benefits:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:15pm, with a competitive salary of £83-£90 per day, depending on experience and certifications. The location is Oxford (OX2).
